Energía Miajadas, S.A. was founded in 1995 as a result of the separation of activities required by the Electricity Sector Law. Since then, it has operated as an electricity distribution company, serving more than 10,000 customers in the municipalities of Miajadas, Zorita, La Cumbre, Escurial, Campo Lugar, and Abertura.

The company manages an extensive electrical infrastructure, comprising over 130 km of medium-voltage lines, 240 km of main lines, more than 100 transformer stations, and two substations with a combined capacity of 95 MVA, guaranteeing a stable, secure, and high-quality supply.

One of the company’s most notable aspects is its commitment to energy sustainability: 99% of the electricity consumption in Miajadas and Escurial, home to more than 6,500 users, comes from renewable energy sources, solidifying Energía Miajadas’s position as an active player in the transition to a cleaner energy model.

Furthermore, in compliance with CNMC Circular 1/2024, Energía Miajadas makes its Detailed Demand Specifications document publicly available, thus ensuring transparency and participation of all stakeholders in the electricity system.
